Jonathan Seigel, President & Co-Founder
Jonathan Seigel is President & Co-Founder of Tiber Capital Group (TCG). Jonathan has over 25 years of experience in private equity real estate and mortgage finance. Prior to co-founding TCG, Jonathan was a Managing Director at FirstKey, a Cerberus portfolio company focused on providing financing to the single-family investor market.
Previously, he was Executive Vice President of Sourcing at Pretium Partners, a private equity firm focused on single-family rental properties and non-performing loans. Progress Residential, a Pretium Company acquired over 10,000 homes during Jonathan’s tenure with the firm. Prior to Pretium Partners, Jonathan was Head of Risk Management for Freddie Mac’s Multifamily Business, the second largest and strongest performing rental mortgage portfolio in the country with over $100 billion in mortgages and securities. Jonathan was Chair of the Credit Risk Committee and had transaction approval authority on over $20 billion dollars of transactions. Prior to Freddie Mac, Jonathan acquired over $1 billion of real estate while working in private equity funds at The Carlyle Group and J.E. Robert Companies/Goldman Sachs Venture.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University and an MBA from The George Washington University. When Jonathan is not working or spending time with his family he enjoys participating in the martial arts. Jonathan is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Fernando Yamasaki.
